How can I filter radio station noise out of my phone? - what noise filter do i need

I live near a radio transmitting antenna and then listening to the radio on my phone line. I do not know ADSL, but I have not used DSL filters but block the noise. What can I do ... There is a filter on the market at that block and I need a special filter for each line at home?

If the United States, you can contact the FCC. Try also my friends from the ARRL (rfi@arrl.org). The conclusion is that the radio is dismissed as a "piece of 15 user" must accept any interference authorized service ....

As always ...

You can filter out RF interference with RFI filter.

Your phone is a very high impedance and is subject to outside interference. Your telephone cable is actually serves as an antenna.

You can try different things, they are all equal.
The telephone company has a filter that goes in the right phone line.
Radio Shack sells a core of "split" filter ferrite cable clamps on the phone. Open the clam shell, wrap the phone cord around the middle of the ferrite core, then blocked orand valve are many problems to overcome.
The chief engineer of the radio station can provide information about how to solve the problem.

Good luck! RFI is never pleasant to drive.

Ring Technician at the station and ask for advice. No matter where you live in the western world - there are rules for this type of interference. In general, it is within the laws and regulations permissive licenses for the radio station issue.

If you do not get to control a decent answer - a ring member of the mandate of Parliament and ask for guidance, "technical regulation", which - issueance Gusy the technical specifications for licensing and support.

The same thing happened to me boring. Sometimes, the radio was so loud he could hardly hear the person I was talking about. I have several phones in my house, but only listened to the radio with one of them. I bought a new phone and that the problem solved.

From your question it seems that a problem with DSL? I do not have DSL, I was at high speed.

This should correct a problem for the local fixed-line telephony. You have the facilitation of the RF signal on your line. It is a bad connection, loose connections, rust, etc. They also use RF filters are caused. All you need is a technician who knows what he's doing. You'll be surprised how many know very little. "
